Many would recognize us, and research would prove us to have been known as: Merchants and Farmers, Farmers State Bank, Citizens State Bank, First National Bank, American State Bank, and of course, First Texas Bank. In 1971, First Texas Bancorp, was formed with headquarters in Georgetown, Texas. We are a few separate entities, but one solid community banking family, with deep-rooted relationships that have been thriving for generations in Central Texas.
